  10. ED/GED is my replacement for the ED/GED quickstarter for GoldED. Some of the
  11. things that bothered me was:
  12.  
  13.     · It didn't put control back to the shell, even if the stick bit was not
  14.       set.
  15.  
  16.     · It couldn't load a new configuration file if GoldED is already started.
  17.  
  18.     · It couldn't go to another screen if GoldED is already started.
  19.  
  20.     · It did not support wildcards.
  21.  
  22. so I fixed the above, and that's about it. It only became 720  bytes  larger,
  23. so that shouldn't be a problem :-)

  25. One problem not yet solved is, that my version can not be made resident,  but
  26. as soon as I learn how to make programs resident, I will change this.

  28. The program is MailWare, this means, that if you use try  this  program,  and
  29. even  if  you don't like it, you must send the author an email or a postcard.
  30. Please think about the fact, that we have put some hours into  this  project,
  31. and  have  used  time to distribute it onto the net. It would be very nice to
  32. know, where it ended up! If you like the program, please let us know! If  you
  33. didn't like it, or if it had some bugs, that made you throw it out, then tell
  34. us too! We can not make changes to a program, if we don't know  where  people
  35. want  the changes! Also we can not fix the bugs (others than the ones we find
  36. our self) if you don't tell us, where they are and what they do.
